This paper are the results of a qualitative research on the experiences of marginalization of older homeless in Toluca, focusing on providing inputs for the construction and definition of public problems affecting this population in 2023. By means of long interviews and participant observation, the invisibilization of the problems of older adults is evidenced, especially in the absence of censuses and institutional protocols at national, state and municipal levels. This phenomenon of social exclusion and violence is a critical manifestation of a broader process of “street life”, which must be understood to formulate public policies that address the specific needs of this group.Downloads
